What is Halloween without black lights? Don’t settle for the small fluorescent black light fixtures from your local party supply or home improvement store. Many of these lights require you to press and hold a switch to “start” (turn on) the fixture. Many don’t even have a reflector.

We offer two models of premium fluorescent black lights, both of which utilize a rapid start ballast, making them ideal for use with our lighting controllers or remote switches. Compact Fluorescent Black Light Bulb

This compact fluorescent mini twist 'black light blue (BLB)' bulb give the light output of a conventional 60-watt bulb, but use only 13 watts of energy. The average life expectancy is 8,000 hours.

The BLB bulbs have a deep blue (actually purple) filter over them that passes only the UV. In other words, virtually no visible light is emitted by a BLB bulb. Ideal for Halloween!
